What is SubjectPal?

A patient AI voice tutor that teaches children from their own English school books, page by page.

Who is SubjectPal for?

Parents of primary-school children whose school uses English textbooks or workbooks, and homeschooling families who want each child to practise the books they chose while they teach another child.

How does SubjectPal work?

Take a photo of a page, or upload it as a PDF, JPG or PNG. SubjectPal finds what the page teaches and starts a short lesson from that material. The child answers out loud or by typing. With a free account, families add whole books and each child gets their own profile and progress.

How is SubjectPal different from a general AI chatbot?

A general chatbot answers whatever it is asked, often with the full answer. SubjectPal starts from the page the child is learning, asks questions, waits for the child's answer and gives hints, and keeps the lesson tied to the school material, with the book page always on screen.

How much does SubjectPal cost?

Trying a page needs no account. The free plan includes 20 book pages for one child, with no card needed. Standard is €29.99 a month (or €299 a year) for up to 2 children and 400 book pages a month. Family is €44.99 a month (or €449 a year) for up to 5 children and 1,000 pages a month. Nothing is charged automatically.

What can't SubjectPal do?

It doesn't replace the parent: it practises the pages you choose. It works with English textbooks and workbooks for primary school, not picture books or other books. It isn't a game and has no endless levels. AI can make mistakes, so the book page always stays on screen to check.

What happens to a family's data?

Books and children's progress are stored privately for the family and never shown to other families. A page tried without an account isn't stored on SubjectPal's server. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and a family can delete the whole account in Settings.
