What SubjectPal is

SubjectPal turns your child's English school books into short lessons with an AI voice tutor. A parent or carer creates the account and can see the child's progress.

Who can use it

• The account holder must be an adult parent or carer. Children don't have their own accounts.
• You decide which children use it and you're responsible for how they use it. Please only add children you are responsible for.
• Keep your password to yourself. One account is for one family.

The free trial and plans

• The free trial includes up to 20 book pages for 1 child. It needs no card, and nothing is charged automatically.
• Standard (€29.99 a month or €299 a year) and Family (€44.99 a month or €449 a year) include the book pages and number of children shown on our prices.
• Online payment isn't open yet. To move to a plan, write to info@subjectpal.com; we'll confirm the price with you before anything is charged.
• Each plan has limits so the service stays fair and affordable. When a limit is reached, the app tells you; nothing is charged extra.

Your books

• Only upload books you're allowed to use, for example ones you bought for your child or that the school gave you.
• Your books stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to prepare lessons for your family. They are never shown to other families.
• You can delete a book at any time, or your whole account in Settings. See Privacy for what is removed and when.

The AI tutor

• The tutor teaches from your child's book pages, but AI can make mistakes. The book page is always there to check.
• SubjectPal helps with practice; it doesn't replace your child's teacher or school.
• Please don't type personal details (such as full names, addresses or phone numbers) into answers.

Fair use

Don't upload illegal or harmful content, try to break or overload SubjectPal, or use it with automated tools. If too much AI is used across the whole service in a month, the tutor may pause for everyone until it can continue — the app says so.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep SubjectPal running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features; for important changes we'll tell you by email first.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings → Your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why — unless it's urgent to protect children, other families or the service.

Responsibility

We provide SubjectPal with care. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way, we'll email you before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
